Ari Foss Foundation Expands Service to Roper St. Francis Healthcare
North Charleston, SC – The Ari Foss Foundation is proud to announce the expansion of its Cremation and Funeral Financial Assistance Program to a second hospital, Roper St. Francis Healthcare. After successfully partnering with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) since 2023, the foundation is extending its reach to help more families coping with the loss of a stillborn or newborn child.
The foundation’s first collaboration with MUSC helped its first family in May 2023, providing essential financial support to cover cremation or funeral costs. Now, with the addition of Roper St. Francis Healthcare, the Ari Foss Foundation aims to assist more families in need during their most difficult moments.
“We are deeply committed to expanding our services to help families when they experience the unthinkable,” said Aaron Silverman, Ari’s Dad and co-founder and Executive Director of the Ari Foss Foundation. “By extending our program to Roper St. Francis Healthcare, we can offer financial assistance to more families with the costs of cremation or funeral services after a stillbirth or neonatal loss.”
The Ari Foss Foundation was created in memory of Ari Foss Silverman, who was stillborn on July 30, 2014. Through this initiative, Ari’s legacy continues to live on, offering hope and support to grieving families at a time when they need it most.
