Ari Foss Foundation Receives $15,000 Grant from Roper Saint Francis Physicians Endowment
North Charleston, SC – The Ari Foss Foundation is honored to announce the receipt of a $15,000 grant from the Roper Saint Francis Physicians Endowment of the Medical Society of South Carolina. This generous grant, approved in November 2023, will significantly enhance the foundation’s ability to support families experiencing the tragic loss of a stillborn or newborn child.
The funds from the grant will allow the Ari Foss Foundation to strengthen its operations, ensuring that even more families in need receive the financial assistance necessary to cover funeral or cremation expenses. This support is crucial in relieving some of the financial burdens that come with the unimaginable grief of losing a child, allowing families to focus on healing during such a difficult time.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from the Roper Saint Francis Physicians Endowment,” said Aaron Silverman, Ari’s Dad and co-founder and Executive Director of the Ari Foss Foundation. “This grant will help us extend our outreach and provide much-needed assistance to more families coping with stillbirth or neonatal loss. Together, we are honoring Ari’s memory by continuing to be there for families when they need it most.”
The Ari Foss Foundation was established in memory of Ari Foss Silverman, who was stillborn on July 30, 2014. Through this foundation, Ari’s legacy lives on by providing compassionate support and financial aid to families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child.
